Prepare these delicious easy and very nutritious broth lentils with a rich flavor of Fuerte Condimentado Tomato Puree, cooked with plantain and a touch of salty bacon, this is a very complete dish to start the meal.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1/4 cups bacon, finely chopped
  • 1 plantain, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 white onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup lentil, soaked
  • 1 cup Del Fuerte® seasoned tomato puree
  • 2 cups vegetable broth, or chicken
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • to taste plantain, fried to decorate

Preparation

Heat a small pot over medium heat and cook the bacon until the fat is loose, add the plantain and fry for 3 minutes with the onion and garlic.
Add the lentils, the Del Fuerte® Spiced Tomato Puree, filled with vegetable or chicken broth, cook for 40 minutes or until the lentils are soft, season to your liking.
Serve the lentils and decorate with sliced ​​fried plantain and cilantro. Enjoy

PRESENTATION

Serve the lentils in a deep dish and decorate with male plantain and a little coriander.

TIPS

Remove the excess fat from the male banana with a sheet of absorbent paper.
