Macaroni and Cheese with Bacon

  • 1 cup bacon, in medium squares
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 3 1/2 cups water, boiling, 800 ml
  • 1 box Coditos with La Moderna® cheese
  • Parmesan cheese, grated, for serving

  • In a skillet, fry the bacon and use that same fat to fry the onion alongside it for 5 minutes.
  • For La Moderna® macaroni and cheese, boil 3 ½ cups of water (800 ml) in a pot, add the pasta, the cheese packet, and stir. Let it boil uncovered for 15 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add the bacon and onion and stir.
  • Serve the macaroni and garnish with Parmesan cheese, bacon, and parsley.
