Homemade Ammunition Soup

An excellent and delicious ammunition pasta soup, accompanied by potatoes, chicken, and vegetables if desired. For those days when the cold takes over and we need a warm and delicious soup from mom's recipe book.

  • 1 bag short pasta, La Moderna® ammunition
  • tomato purée, concentrate
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1.5 chicken bullion, liquid
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons granulated chicken bouillon
  • potatoes, in cubes (optional)
  • vegetable, in cubes (optional)
  • chickens, shredded or in cubes (optional)

  • Put vegetable oil in a pot that can hold all the ingredients and let it heat up.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the pasta to the pot and stir until well mixed. Wait for the pasta to take on a slightly more golden color.
  • Once the pasta turns a medium golden color, add the liquid chicken broth and shortly after, the powdered chicken broth. If desired, diced potatoes, chicken, and vegetables can be added.
  • Stir constantly until the pasta has a smooth texture.
  • Serve in a round soup plate.
