  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 guajillo chiles, deveined and soaked
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 onions
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 200 grams fideo pasta, #2 (one bag)
  • salt
  • 5 cups chicken broth
  • fresh cilantro, for decoration
  • avocado, for accompaniment
  • guajillo chile, sliced into rings
  • lime, for accompaniment

  • Blend the tomatoes with the guajillo chile, garlic cloves, and onion.
  • Heat the oil over low heat, fry the noodles, and cook until slightly golden, pour in the previous preparation, season with salt, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the chicken broth and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until the noodles are cooked.
  • Serve hot in a deep dish accompanied by slices of avocado, cilantro, lime, and guajillo chile rings.
