3 white onions, or yellow onion
1 clove garlic
1 shallot
1 sprig thyme
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
4 cups chicken, degreased
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon flour

Slice the onion into rings and chop the thyme.
Place butter, oil, onion rings, thyme, garlic, sliced shallot, and sugar in a baking dish. Bake at 200°C until the onion browns.
Add one cup of broth to the baking dish and return to the oven until it comes to a boil. Blend with the remaining broth and the cream.
In a separate saucepan, heat the butter with flour and pour in the cream. Season and let it boil until it thickens.
