Seasoned Shrimp Soup

It's a delicious shrimp broth, with shrimp, vegetables, and fish; it's a delight! For those with bold tastes.

  • 1 kilo shrimp, cleaned
  • 1 bunch epazote, washed
  • 50 grams carrot , in cubes
  • 50 grams ear corn, cooked
  • 50 grams potato , cooked in cubes
  • 200 grams fish fillet , in pieces
  • 2 serrano chiles, green
  • 20 grams granulated chicken bouillon

  • Sauté 1 sliced onion and 1 diced tomato in 2 teaspoons of hot oil. Blend with 1/2 cup of water.
  • Add the chicken broth powder, 1 pinch of achiote previously dissolved in hot water, plus 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil.
  • Add the vegetables, chili, and shrimp. Let it cook for 3 minutes.
  • Finally, add the fish fillet cut into cubes and cook for another 3 minutes.
  • Finally, add the epazote, cover, and turn off the heat.
