Shrimp broth

Try this delicious shrimp broth, where this spicy broth and full of crispy vegetables will be everyone's addiction.

  • 2 guajillo chiles, without seeds and tail
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 garlic, tooth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 8 cups water
  • 3 Knorr ® shrimp bouillon, cubes
  • 500 grams shrimp, medium head
  • 1 cup carrot, cooked and diced
  • 1 cup potato, cooked and diced
  • 2 fresh epazote, twigs

  • Boil the peppers and tomato for 10 minutes or until soft.
  • Blend together with garlic and onion. Strain and reserve.
  • Heat the oil in a pot and fry the sauce over medium heat for 10 minutes or until well cooked.
  • Pour the water, cubes of Knorr® Shrimp Broth Shrimp and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  • Add shrimp, vegetables and cook over medium heat for 5 more minutes or until shrimp are well cooked.
  • Add the epazote branches, remove from heat, let stand for 5 minutes, accompany with lemon juice and serve.
