Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 guajillo chilies, without seeds and tail
  • 1 tomtato, diced
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 garlic, tooth
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 8 cups Water
  • 3 Knorr ® Shrimp broth, cubes
  • 500 grams shrimp, medium head
  • 1 cup carrot, cooked and diced
  • 1 cup potato, cooked and diced
  • 2 fresh epazotes, twigs

Preparation

Boil the peppers and tomato for 10 minutes or until soft.
Blend together with garlic and onion. Strain and reserve.
Heat the oil in a pot and fry the sauce over medium heat for 10 minutes or until well cooked.
Pour the water, cubes of Knorr® Shrimp Broth Shrimp and let it boil for 5 minutes.
Add shrimp, vegetables and cook over medium heat for 5 more minutes or until shrimp are well cooked.
Add the epazote branches, remove from heat, let stand for 5 minutes, accompany with lemon juice and serve.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with lemon.

TIPS

Avoid over cooking shrimp so they are soft and juicy.

Yo uso el agua donde cocí los chiles y el jitomate para el caldo. Además no cuelo la salsa. Pruébalo, queda muy rico !! Gracias por compartir la receta !!
