  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups celery, in small cubes
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup chicken breast, in medium cubes
  • 1 can HERDEZ® vegetable salad
  • 2 cups potato, in small cubes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 pieces of bread, rustic, without filling
  • HERDEZ® vegetable salad
  • parsley, finely chopped

  • Heat the butter in a pot over medium heat, add the onion, garlic, and celery, and cook for 5 minutes. Incorporate the flour and brown it over medium heat for 2 minutes. When the mixture is lightly browned, add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes.
  • When the chicken is lightly browned, add HERDEZ® vegetable salad, the potatoes, chicken broth, whipping cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes or until thickened. Set aside.
  • Blend for 5 minutes and set aside.
  • Serve the cream inside a rustic bread and garnish with parsley and HERDEZ® vegetable salad.
