1 cup long grain rice
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 onions, finely chopped
2 cups chicken broth
1/4 cups peas
1 bell pepper
salt, and pepper to taste

Place 2 tablespoons of butter and the onion in a microwave-safe pot.
Cook covered at medium level for 2 minutes.
Add the rice and cook for about 1 minute.
Pour in the chicken broth and season with salt and white pepper.
Cook covered at medium level for 10 minutes.
Add the peas and cook for 3 more minutes.
Incorporate the previously deveined and diced bell pepper.
Add the rest of the butter and cook for 2 minutes.
Stir to incorporate all ingredients and let rest covered for 2 minutes.
