Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cups chicken soup
  • 1/4 cups pea
  • 1 bell pepper
  • salt, and pepper to taste

Preparation

Place 2 tablespoons of butter and onion in a microwave-safe saucepan.
Kitchen covered at medium level, for 2 minutes.
Add the rice and cook for about 1 minute.
Pour the chicken broth and season with salt and white pepper.
Kitchen covered at medium level for 10 minutes.
Add the peas and cook for 3 more minutes.
Add the previously deveined pepper and split into small cubes.
Add the rest of the butter and cook for 2 minutes.
Remove to incorporate all the ingredients and let stand covered, for 2 minutes.

TIPS

Add about one cup of water for each cup of cooked rice so you will not dry out.
