  • 1/4 cups onion, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups celery, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cups carrot, cut into thin strips
  • 3 cups white cabbage, cut into strips
  • 1 cup Del Fuerte® natural tomato purée
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 cup chicken, cooked and shredded
  • fresh cilantro, for garnish

  • In a small pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, carrot, celery, and white cabbage. Cook until vegetables are shiny. Add Del Fuerte® seasoned tomato purée, chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper. Add chicken and cook for 10 more minutes.
  • Serve and garnish with fresh cilantro.
