Onion soup

Traditional onion soup, prepare this rich onion soup in the cold season and accompany it with a delicious crouton with baked Gruyere cheese.

  • 2 cups caramelized onion
  • 1 1/2 liters beef broth, or chicken broth
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 2 pepper, in grain
  • salt

  • Boil the beef stock and add the caramelized onion, thyme and peppers.
  • Season with a little salt and cook over low heat.
  • Season more if necessary. Serve hot.
