Onion Soup with Chicken

Onion soup with chicken is a very traditional recipe that should not be missing in your home. If you thought it was too complicated to prepare, here you will find the easiest and tastiest way to cook it.

  • 2 cubes Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon
  • 2 cups red onion, cut into thin strips
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 6 teaspoons Primavera® Chantilly Margarine
  • 4 cups water

  • In a medium pot, melt the Primavera Chantilly® Salt-Free margarine and sauté the onion until it is almost transparent, stirring constantly to prevent sticking or burning.
  • Add the garlic and mix it well with the onion. Pour in the water, add and dissolve the Knorr® Suiza Chicken Broth cubes. Increase the heat and bring to a boil.
  • Boil for 5 minutes, add and incorporate the chicken, and let it cook for a couple more minutes. Remove from heat, let it rest for 5 minutes, and serve hot.
