Potato soup

Delicious potato soup prepared in the microwave, this recipe is so easy that you will want to do it again.

  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1/2 leeks
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • salt, and pepper to taste

  • Remove the veins and seeds from the pepper and cut into julienne strips.
  • Get medium cubes from the potatoes and slice the leek.
  • Place the butter and vegetables in a microwave-safe saucepan, cover and cook for about 5-6 minutes on high.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, add the thyme and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for 2 minutes or until the chicken broth reaches high heat.
  • Remove from the microwave and check temperature and seasoning.
