1 red bell pepper
1/2 leeks
1 tablespoon butter
1 liter chicken broth
1 sprig thyme
salt, and pepper to taste

Remove the veins and seeds from the pepper and cut into strips.
Cut the potatoes into medium cubes and slice the leek.
Place the butter and vegetables in a microwave-safe pot, cover, and cook for approximately 5-6 minutes on high.
Pour in the chicken broth, add thyme, and season with salt and pepper.
Cook for 2 minutes or until the chicken broth reaches high temperature.
Remove from the microwave and check temperature and seasoning.
