Dry noodle casserole

The dry noodle is a delicious dish, as it has a much more concentrated flavor. This dry noodle casserole is ideal as a starter for your meals during a family gathering where a glass of Del Valle Frut ® Citrus is a must.

  • 2 tomatoes, roasted
  • 1 ancho chile, clean and hydrated
  • 1 guajillo chile, clean and hydrated
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 onions
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 220 grams fideo pasta
  • 1/4 cups tomato purée
  • avocado, in cubes, for decoration
  • red onion, in slices, for decoration
  • queso fresco, grated, for decoration
  • 1 Del Valle Frut® Citrus, of 2 liters, to accompany

  • Blend at maximum speed the tomato, ancho chili, guajillo chili, garlic, onion, and chicken broth, season with salt and pepper. Reserve
  • In a casserole over medium heat, pour the oil and, when it is hot, add the noodle; cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly until it changes color. Then add what you blended earlier along with the tomato puree and mix perfectly.
  • Cover and cook for 10 minutes over medium-low heat until the liquid has been reduced. Remove from heat and taste to see if you like the seasoning.
  • Serve in a casserole, decorate with avocado, onion, and sprinkle cheese. Enjoy with the refreshing Del Valle Frut ® Citrus.
