Glazed Bacon Carrots

Prepare a rich and easy side dish with this recipe for oven-baked carrots wrapped in pork bacon and drizzled with a honey mustard dressing. They will be an ideal accompaniment for your Christmas dinner or any special dinner you have. Continuously baste the carrots with the honey mixture so they caramelize. Turn them constantly to roast evenly.

  • 10 slices bacon, FUD® Pork
  • 1/4 cups maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • parsley, chopped, for garnish

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  • Peel the carrots and wrap them with FUD® pork bacon. Place them on a baking tray.
  • Mix the honey with the mustard and season to taste. Brush the carrots with this mixture.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes or until tender and the bacon is golden. Serve immediately with chopped parsley.
