How to make ganache

Ganache, a delicious chocolate mixture, can serve as a base for many recipes: glazes for donuts, fillings for cakes, or, if cooled and whipped, it could be used as frosting; you can even use it to make truffles if you mix it with peanut butter and let it cool. I’m sharing my secret on how to make ganache.

Chop the chocolate into very small pieces.

Place the chocolate pieces in a bowl.

Heat the heavy cream until it boils.

Pour the cream over the chocolate and add the salt.
