How to make guava empanadas

If you usually make savory empanadas but would like to learn a recipe for sweet empanadas; I share my tip on how to make delicious guava empanadas.

Boil the guavas with water, sugar, and cinnamon until soft.

Drain the guavas when they are cool and cut into cubes. Set them aside.

Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until it is about 2 cm thick.

Cut discs and place on one side the Philadelphia® Cream Cheese mixed with sugar and a tablespoon of guava.

Close like a quesadilla, and with the back of a fork, seal the edges.

Brush with the beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar, and place on a greased baking sheet.

Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C, until the puff pastry is golden.
