One option is to cook the frozen turkey, it is a safe way to do it, as this prevents the growth of bacteria. However, it may take much longer, about 5 hours at 162°C for a 5 or 6-kilo turkey.

The turkey must reach an internal temperature of 73 to 85°C.

If you start planning several days in advance, you can consider defrosting in the refrigerator. Make sure to allow 24 hours of defrosting for every 2 kilos:

Another option is to submerge the turkey in an ice-water bath, changing the water every 30 minutes, allow 30 minutes of defrosting for every 1/2 kilo of turkey:

The last option works if you have a small turkey or a very large microwave, set the defrost function, this can take between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on how many kilos your turkey weighs.
