Turrón Punch for Christmas

This is a punch with a simple preparation, made from almond turrón, to surprise our guests this Christmas. I hope you enjoy this recipe and if you make it, you can post a photo.

  • 630 grams evaporated milk
  • 185 grams condensed milk
  • 10 ounces turrón, almond
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg, grated
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 cup white rum

  • Blend the evaporated milk, condensed milk, and cornstarch.
  • In a saucepan, add the milk, nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, salt, and egg yolks. Cook while stirring until thickened.
  • Once thickened, remove from heat, let cool, and add the rum. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
