Delicious Divorced Eggs

So that you do not have to decide which sauce to accompany your breakfast, we bring to you this recipe for Delicious Divorced Eggs. This easy breakfast with egg can be served with the yolk well done, or over easy, but without a doubt the flavor of green sauce and red sauce will give a spectacular touch.

  • 3 árbol chiles, without stem and soaked in hot water, for red sauce
  • 1/8 white onions, for red sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, for red sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, for red sauce
  • 3/4 cups water, for red sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon, for red sauce
  • 16 tablespoons Knorr® tomato bouillon, for red sauce, 128g (4.5oz)
  • 1 liter water, for red sauce
  • 6 tomatillos, for green sauce
  • 1/8 white onions, for green sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, for green sauce
  • 2 serrano chiles, without stem, for green sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoons cumin, ground, for green sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, for green sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons queso fresco, demoronado, to decorate

  • 1 serrano chile, sliced, to decorate

  • For the sauce, blend the chile de árbol with the onion, garlic, oregano, water and season with Knorr® chicken broth until a smooth mixture is obtained.
  • In a pot, boil 1 liter of water and dissolve the content of Mi Tomate Knorr®. Cook 2 minutes and add the previous mixture, cook 3 more minutes and set aside.
  • For the green sauce, in a pot with boiling water, cook the tomatoes with the onion, garlic and chiles for 20 minutes or until the tomatoes change color.
  • Blend the vegetables with the coriander, cumin and season with Knorr® chicken spoon and set aside.
  • In a Teflon pan over medium heat, heat the oil and crack the eggs. Cook to your liking and set aside.
  • Serve the eggs in two plates, cover one half with the red sauce to the other with the green sauce. Garnish with fresh cheese, cilantro, chile serrano and purple onions. Accompany with pot beans and enjoy.
