Spinach and Yoghurt Quiche

This quiche is delicious for breakfast, as well as being very healthy and nutritious. Make it for the whole family.

  • 1 cup Oikos® greek style yogurt
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 package frozen spinach
  • 240 grams Gruyère cheese, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cups cow's milk
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Blind bake the crust in a pie dish until golden, 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Sauté the onion in olive oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the spinach until it is heated through.
  • Place it in the crust and top with the cheese.
  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs, Oikos, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour over the filling and bake until set, 35-45 minutes.
