  • 1 red onion, for the onions
  • 2 slices Manchego cheese, for the onions
  • 250 grams ground beef, for the meat
  • salt, for the meat
  • pepper, for the meat
  • garlic powder, for the meat
  • parsley, dry, for the meat
  • 1/2 cups bacon, fried, in small cubes
  • 2 slices American cheese, in slices
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise, for the dressing
  • 1/4 cups ketchup, for the dressing
  • 1/4 cups pickles, finely chopped, for the dressing

  • Slice the onions to obtain 4 thick rings.Place the manchego cheese on a baking tray, arrange the onions on top, and bake at 190 °C for 15 minutes or until the onions are soft and the cheese has melted.
  • In a bowl, mix the ground meat, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Divide the meat into two portions and flatten until you get a thin burger patty.Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the meat for 3 minutes on each side. Then add a slice of cheese on top of each burger patty and the bacon.
  • In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, onion, and pickles until integrated. Set aside.
  • Place the cheeseburger on an onion, add a bit of dressing, and cover with another onion, serving it with French fries.
