Chicken in Turmeric Sauce

  • 2 cups low-fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon Maizena® cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric, powder
  • 1 teaspoon Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon
  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 teaspoon Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 teaspoons Primavera® Cook With Salt margarine

  • For the sauce, blend the milk with Maizena® Cornstarch, turmeric, and 1 teaspoon of Knorr® Suiza Chicken Broth.
  • Cook the sauce over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and gains consistency. Set aside.
  • Meanwhile, season both sides of each chicken breast with Knorr® Suiza Chicken Broth and garlic powder.
  • Melt 1 teaspoon of Margarina Primavera® and cook 1 chicken breast until golden and fully cooked.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining chicken.
  • When serving, drizzle each breast with the turmeric sauce and serve.
