Hawaiian Bacon-Wrapped Meat Skewers

These skewers are made in Hawaiian style, meaning with a touch of pineapple. Additionally, they are seasoned with a spice blend for an extra special flavor. These Hawaiian skewers are perfect for preparing at a celebration or to share and enjoy with friends and family.

  • 2 tablespoons Member's Mark® by McCormick® ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons raw sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika Member's Mark® by McCormick®
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Member's Mark® by McCormick®
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder Member's Mark® by McCormick®
  • 1 tablespoon Member's Mark® by McCormick® chili flake
  • 1 teaspoon Member's Mark® by McCormick® pepper
  • salt
  • 4 cups pork, cut for skewer
  • 1 cup bacon, cubes of approximately 2.5 cm
  • 2 cups golden ripe pineapple, cubes of approximately 2.5 cm
  • 1/2 cups red bell pepper, square cut of approximately 2.5 cm
  • 1/2 cups orange bell pepper, square cut of approximately 2.5 cm
  • 1/2 cups green bell pepper, square cut of approximately 2.5 cm
  • 1 cup red onion, square cut of approximately 2.5 cm
  • cilantro, finely chopped, for garnish

  • For the rub: Mix in a bowl the Member’s Mark® by McCormick® ground cinnamon, brown sugar, Member’s Mark® by McCormick® paprika, Member’s Mark® by McCormick® garlic powder, Member’s Mark® by McCormick® onion powder, Member’s Mark® by McCormick® chili flakes, Member’s Mark® by McCormick® pepper, and salt.
  • Mix the pork with the rub in a bowl and let it rest for 15 minutes to marinate the meat.
  • Assemble the skewers by alternating the meat with bacon, pineapple, bell peppers, and onions. Try to combine the different colors.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan, then add a bit of cooking spray (you can also brush it if using charcoal or direct fire) and cook the skewers over high heat for about 5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Sprinkle a bit more rub as seasoning.
  • Sprinkle cilantro on the Hawaiian bacon-wrapped meat skewers and serve with green guacamole sauce.
