Pork in Morita Sauce with Potatoes

  • 6 tomatillos
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 morita chiles, deveined and soaked
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3/4 kilos pork, (lean) cooked
  • 3 potatoes, cooked and cut into cubes
  • 6 slices Artesano® bread, for serving

  • On a griddle over medium heat, roast the tomatoes, onion, and garlic.
  • Blend the tomatoes, onion, garlic, and morita chili. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan, heat the oil, add the pork, and fry for 10 minutes.
  • Add the potatoes and cook until they take on a bit of color. Pour in the morita chili sauce, and let it cook for 15 minutes.
  • Serve accompanied by Artisan Bread®
