Pork Tips in Pasilla Sauce

This pork in pasilla sauce is a must in Mexican cuisine, with a lot of tradition as it uses dried chiles and spices. Here we leave you a simple recipe to prepare, but with the spectacular flavor and ideal texture of the traditional dish.

  • 1 cube Knorr® Juicy Rib, Rib Broth
  • 4 pasilla chiles, seedless
  • 1/4 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 clove
  • 4 black pepper
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 650 grams tenderloin tip, of pork
  • 2 leaves bay

  • Roast the chiles, onion, garlic, clove, and pepper in a skillet over low heat to prevent burning.
  • Soak the above in 1 cup of hot water until the chiles soften. Blend and set aside.
  • Fry the meat in hot oil until slightly golden and pour in the previously strained chile mixture.
  • Season with the Knorr® Costilla Jugosa Beef Broth cube and bay leaves.
  • Add 1 more cup of water and let it boil for 10 minutes or until the meat is well cooked.
  • Serve with a little white rice.
