  • 2 liters water, for mashed potatoes
  • 4 potatoes, cut into cubes, for mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup cow's milk, for mashed potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter, for mashed potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white pepper, for mashed potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg, for mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1/2 kilos beef cutlet
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • parsley, chopped, for serving

  • For the mashed potatoes, heat a small pot over medium heat with water, cook the potatoes with a little salt until soft, drain and set aside.
  • Heat a small pot over medium heat with milk, add the butter and the cooked potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Using a potato masher, mash the potatoes to form the puree, cook until the milk reduces and you obtain a smooth puree, then cool.
  • On a cutting board, lay out the beef milanesa and fill with the mashed potatoes, form tightly compressed rolls and set aside.
  • Beat the milk with the egg and add salt and pepper. Bread the milanesa rolls by dipping them in the egg mixture and then in the breadcrumbs.
  • In a pan, heat the oil and fry the rolls until they are nice and crispy, remove from the oil and place them on paper towels, set aside.
  • Slice and serve with chopped parsley. Enjoy.
