BBQ Christmas Log Dip

Prepare this cheese dip recipe with chicken and Hunt’s® Original BBQ Sauce, perfect for a Christmas party.   • 2 cups chicken breast, in small cubes
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder, for the chicken
  • 2 tablespoons lime zest, for the chicken
  • 1 cup Hunt´S ® original bbq sauce, 620 g
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for the chicken
  • 4 cups cream cheese, in cubes and at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cups yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cups serrano chile, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
  • 1 cup bacon, fried, in squares
  • 1/4 cups cashews, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 cups parsley, finely chopped

  • canned bell pepper, in strips, for decoration

  • Mix the chicken with garlic powder, lemon zest, and Hunt’s® Original BBQ Sauce in a bowl; let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • In a pan with hot oil over medium heat, brown the chicken on both sides, cook for 10 minutes, and set aside.
  • Soften the cream cheese in a bowl. Add the chicken, onion, bell peppers, serrano chili, green onion, fried bacon, cashew nuts, garlic powder, and lime juice; season with salt, pepper, and Hunt’s® Original BBQ Sauce; mix until fully combined.
  • On a board, place non-stick plastic, add the previous preparation, cover with plastic, and with your hands, gradually shape the cheese log. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
  • Place the log on a platter, using a spatula to perfect its shape, decorate with strips of bell pepper and serve with croutons. Enjoy the BBQ Christmas log dip!
