Almond cake decorated with meringues

2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
3 cups flour
3 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream, sour cream
1/2 tablespoons baking powder
6 eggs
1/2 tablespoons almond essence
1/2 tablespoons orange essence
2 cups vanilla frosting
1/2 cups almonds, filleted

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade.
Prepare a circular baking dish with a little butter and flour.
In an electric
mixer
, mix butter and sugar for 5 minutes. Add the sour cream and continue whisking.
Add flour and baking powder and continue whisking. Add eggs and essences and beat for 5 more minutes.
Pour into the refractory to bake and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool. Demolish.
With a splátula cover all the cake with the vanilla bitumen and decorate with the almond filleted around all the edges of the cake.
