Apple Flan Pie

  • 4 apples
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Preheat the oven to 170° C.
  • Peel and core the apples. Cut them into moderately thick slices.
  • Heat your T-fal skillet and when the red spot (Thermo-spot) is completely red, add the butter, apples, sugar, and cinnamon, cook for 5 minutes, let cool, and set aside.
  • For the dough, in a bowl mix the butter with sugar, add the yolk, flour, and water, knead until you have a homogeneous dough, refrigerate and set aside.
  • Roll out the dough into a pie base. Set aside.
  • Blend the cream, yolks, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla using the “dessert” function on your T-fal® InfinyForce blender.
  • Pour this mixture over the dough, add the apples, and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Let cool and serve.
