  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C and grease and flour the baking dish. Set aside.
  • In a mixer, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder, salt, and powdered sugar. While mixing, add the milk, natural yogurt, and the eggs one by one until integrated. Finally, incorporate the carrot and the walnut, and mix lightly for another 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • Pour the mixture into the square baking dish, bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • For the frosting, beat the butter until creamy, add the cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, and zest while continuing to mix until you achieve a smooth mixture. Set aside some frosting and color part green and the other part orange.
  • Unmold the cake and on a board, cut the sponge in half. Then fill with the frosting.
  • Cover with more frosting, decorate with the carrots, walnuts, and enjoy.
