  • 3 cups Tres Estrellas® flour for hot cakes
  • 2 1/4 cups cow's milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups carrot, grated
  • 1/2 cups walnuts, finely chopped
  • 2 packages cream cheese, for the frosting (190 g each)
  • 3/4 cups whipping cream, for the frosting
  • 1/4 cups icing sugar, for the frosting
  • green food coloring

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Mix Tres Estrellas® Hot Cake Flour with milk, egg, butter, sugar, cinnamon, carrot, and walnuts.
  • Pour into 2 previously greased and floured 20 cm diameter molds and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool and set aside.
  • For the frosting: beat the cream cheese with the whipping cream and powdered sugar. Reserve ½ cup of frosting.
  • Add some frosting on top of a cake layer, place the carrot cake on top, and cover with the remaining frosting. Refrigerate the cake for 20 minutes.
  • Tint a portion of the reserved frosting with green food coloring and another with orange food coloring. Place in piping bags.
  • Shape the carrots in the center of the cake with the colored frostings, decorate with walnuts, and enjoy.
