This chocolate pound cake recipe is very easy to prepare and turns out delicious. It contains chocolate chips, which add a very nice extra touch. I recommend serving it with vanilla ice cream.
Mix the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, mix the milk and cream.
Cream the butter and sugar with a mixer until fluffy and light yellow in color.
Add the eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla. Reduce the mixer speed to low, and add the flour mixture in 3 parts, alternating with the milk (previously mixed with the cream).
Add the chocolate chips and stir well. Pour the mixture into the greased pound cake pan and bake for 55-60 minutes.
Let cool on a rack and unmold.
Dust with powdered sugar for decoration.
