Cream Cheese and Chocolate Filled Crepes

You will love these delicious crepes if you are a fan of cream cheese, and the dark chocolate makes a very tasty combination.

  • 8 crepes
  • 1 stick cream cheese
  • 100 grams semisweet chocolate, in squares
  • 6 tablespoons bittersweet chocolate, shredded
  • 1/2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/4 cups sugar

  • In an electric mixer, blend the cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until you achieve a fluffy cream.
  • Separate half of the cream and place it in a baking dish.
  • Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a double boiler (place one pot over another pot with water so that the heat does not directly touch the chocolate and burn it).
  • Add the chocolate to the remaining cream mixture in the mixer and beat until you have a chocolate cream.
  • Heat the crepes in a skillet or griddle.
  • Take each crepe and fill it with half vanilla cream and half chocolate cream, then roll it up.
  • If you like, you can lightly heat the crepes before serving.
