Delicious Chocolate Cake

  • 1 cup milk, for the cake
  • 1/2 cups vegetable oil, for the cake
  • 1 cup water, hot, for the cake
  • 1 cup whipping cream, for the chocolate bitumen
  • 1 cup hazelnut chocolate cream, for the chocolate bitumen
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate, melted, for the chocolate frosting
  • 2 tablespoons brandy, for the chocolate bitumen

  • For the cake, in a bowl sift the wheat flour, cocoa powder, Rexal® Baking Powder and salt. Reservation.
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs until they change color slightly, gradually add the milk, the oil, and add the powders mixed in the previous step, alternating with the hot water. Beat until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into 2 greased and floured molds of 15 cm in diameter, bake for 25 minutes at 180 ° C. Let cool and reserve.
  • For the chocolate cream, heat the whipping cream, add and mix with the hazelnut cream, the chocolate until melted, remove from the heat and add the brandy. Then refrigerate for 2 hours and reserve.
  • Beat the previous mixture until it has a firm texture to obtain the chocolate cream.
  • Place a cake base on a plate, add a little chocolate cream, place the other base on top and with the help of a spatula, cover with the rest of the cream. Decorate with chocolate shavings and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Serve with a glass of milk.
