In a bowl, add the flour and make a hole in the center, add the yeast, milk, and a pinch of sugar.
Knead until a dough starts to form, add the remaining sugar, salt, room temperature butter, and eggs.
Knead well and let the dough rest for one hour in a warm place.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 8mm, use a round cutter of 4 cm in diameter to cut the dough, and cut a circle of 1 cm in diameter in the center of each circle.
Cover and let rest in a warm place for 2 hours. Fry in a pan with 3 cm of hot oil. Brown on both sides, remove and let drain on paper towels to remove excess grease.
For the glaze: In a bowl, beat the butter until smooth, add the milk and vanilla extract, add half of the powdered sugar and beat for a few minutes. Incorporate the remaining sugar and continue beating until it reaches a smooth consistency. To make pink glaze, set aside a portion of the glaze and add a drop of red food coloring or as needed to achieve the desired color.
Add the glaze to the donuts and decorate with colorful or chocolate sprinkles.
