Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies

Baking cookies is really easy, and with this chocolate chip cookie recipe, you will see for yourself. The base of these cookies is neutral with a hint of chocolate, while their flavor is sweet with a slight salty touch. They will be crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside; just make sure not to overwork the dough, so they don’t become tough.

  • 1/2 cups butter, soft, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups raw sugar, moist
  • 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

  • Cream the butter with the sugars (brown and refined), add the egg and vanilla extract; sift the flour and then add it to the previous mixture along with the baking soda and salt; beat just until combined.
  • Portion the cookie dough and roll it into balls with your hands; chill. Distribute the pieces on a baking sheet, making sure there is a 3 cm distance between each one, press a little in the middle, and bake for 15 minutes at 180 °C. Cool and serve.
