Sprinkle the sugar at the bottom of the mold where you will bake it and caramelize it on the stovetop, then let it cool.
Blend all the remaining ingredients until well incorporated, then add to the mold that already has the cooled and hardened sugar.
Place it in the oven in a water bath (inside another mold with a little water) making sure no water gets into the flan.
If you don't want it to brown, cover it with aluminum foil.
Bake for approximately 45 minutes at 170° until you insert a knife and it comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let it cool. Refrigerate, unmold, and serve cold.
