  • 1 cup granulated sugar, for the caramel
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/4 cups orange juice
  • orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • orange wedges, for decoration
  • peppermint, for decoration

  • To make the caramel, melt the sugar over medium heat and pour it into a prepared mold. Let it cool to room temperature.
  • Preheat the oven to 190 °C.
  • For the flan, blend the condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream cheese, orange juice, orange zest, cornstarch, and vanilla, then pour the mixture into the mold, cover with aluminum foil, and bake in a water bath for 50 minutes at 190 °C. Let it cool and refrigerate for one hour.
  • Unmold the flan and decorate with orange segments and mint.
