Ingredients

  • 1 cup of refined sugar for candy
  • 1 cup of condensed milk
  • 1 cup of evaporated milk
  • 1 cup of cream cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/4 of cup of orange juice
  • enough of Orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla
  • enough of Orange slice to decorate
  • enough of peppermint to decorate

Preparation

For the caramel, melt the sugar over medium heat and pour into a prepared mold. Cool to room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
For the flan, blend the condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream cheese, orange juice, orange zest, corn starch, vanilla and pour the mixture into the mold, cover with aluminum and bake in a water bath for 50 minutes at 190 ° C. Let cool and refrigerate one hour.
Unmold the flan and decorate with segments of orange and mint.

PRESENTATION

Garnish with mint leaves and orange wedges, you can also add zest.

TIPS

It is important that the mixture is not allowed to stand too long to avoid "cutting" and separating the ingredients (by orange).
