Carrot Cake with Chocolate Topping

  • 3 carrots
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 cups flour, sifted
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cups cow's milk
  • 50 grams butter

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Add the carrots, eggs, and oil to a blender and mix for at least 5 minutes. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  • Pour the carrot puree into the mixture of dry ingredients. Place in an 8-inch cake pan and bake for 45 minutes.
  • For the frosting, just mix sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and butter in a saucepan and incorporate well. When it begins to boil, wait 1 minute and turn off the heat.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture over the carrot cake.
