Rompope Cake

If you love rompope as much as I do, you will really like this easy recipe.

  • 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons Gloria® butter unsalted butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cups cow's milk
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 2 cups rompope
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk

  • Preheat the oven for 25 minutes at 180°C.
  • Beat the eggs and gradually add sugar; once they foam and change color, turn off the mixer. Gently fold in the flour and baking powder (previously sifted) using a spatula.
  • Incorporate the orange zest.
  • Pour the batter into a previously greased and floured mold.
  • Bake the cake for 25 minutes.
  • Envinado: Combine the rompope, 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk, and 1/2 cup of milk. Soak the cake and refrigerate for two hours.
