  • 1 box Tres Estrellas® French Vanilla Flavored Cake Flour, 432 g
  • 1 cup milk, for the cake
  • 3 eggs, for the cake
  • 1/2 cups vegetable oil, for the cake

  • 1/2 cups icing sugar, for the frosting
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, for the frosting
  • 1/4 cups whipping cream, for the frosting

  • 2 oranges, cut into half moons, for the candied orange
  • 2 cups sugar, for the syrup, for the candied orange
  • 1/2 cups water, for the syrup, for the candied orange

  • In a bowl, add the Tres Estrellas® French Vanilla Cake Flour, the milk, the egg one by one, and mix. Pour in the vegetable oil and the orange zest; beat until you obtain a creamy consistency.
  • Grease a baking dish with butter, pour in the mixture, and bake at 160°C for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven. With the help of a fork, make small holes all over the sponge cake. Chill.
  • For the three milks, mix in a bowl the condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream, and orange zest.
  • For the cream cheese frosting, in a bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream; mix until you have a homogeneous consistency.
  • For the candied orange, heat water in a pot over medium heat, add the oranges, and cook for 10 minutes. Drain.
  • In a pot over medium heat, cook the sugar with the water until you obtain a syrup, add the oranges, and cook for 10 minutes. Cool, remove from the syrup, and set aside.
  • Once the sponge cake is cold, pour the three milk mixture over it. Cover the cake with the frosting, and decorate with the candied orange and lemon twist.
