If you don't know what to do with the leftover bread from the week, prepare this vanilla bread pudding; it’s an economical dessert made with ingredients you have at home.
Cut the baguette into 2 cm slices using a serrated knife. Set aside.
Mix the milk with the sour cream, eggs, half-and-half, sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and melted butter in a bowl. Combine with a whisk until you have a smooth mixture. Set aside.
Place the bread in a rectangular baking dish, then pour the previous mixture over it and let it soak for 10 minutes or until the bread softens. Then, using a whisk, press down to break up the bread as much as possible; you can also use a potato masher. Bake at 180 °C for 25 minutes.
Remove the bread pudding from the oven, let it cool, cut, and serve with condensed milk.
