White Chocolate and Macadamia cookies

1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 tablespoons salt
1 cup butter
1 1/3 cups sugar
2/3 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
1 cup white chocolate, in pieces
1 cup macadamia nut, in pieces

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade and grease two baking sheets.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
In another deep and large bowl beat the butter, sugar and brown sugar until the mixture is spongy.
Add and continue beating the eggs and vanilla.
Now little by little incorporate the flour with the mixture beating until you get a uniform dough.
Add the chocolates in pieces and the macadamia and finish mixing well.
Using a large spoon, place separate club circles on the baking trays.
Bake cookies for 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove from the oven and serve.
