White Chocolate and Macadamia cookies

This recipe for cookies is spectacular. They contain white chocolate in pieces and macadamia nut.

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 tablespoons salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup white chocolate, in pieces
  • 1 cup macadamia nut, in pieces

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade and grease two baking sheets.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • In another deep and large bowl beat the butter, sugar and brown sugar until the mixture is spongy.
  • Add and continue beating the eggs and vanilla.
  • Now little by little incorporate the flour with the mixture beating until you get a uniform dough.
  • Add the chocolates in pieces and the macadamia and finish mixing well.
  • Using a large spoon, place separate club circles on the baking trays.
  • Bake cookies for 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven and serve.
