  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • white chocolate, melted, for coating
  • milk chocolate, melted, for coating
  • bittersweet chocolate, melted, for coating

  • For the buñuelos, in a bowl mix the flour with sugar, salt, baking powder, vanilla, water, oil, egg, and milk until you obtain a smooth and light dough.
  • Heat enough oil in two pots and dip the buñuelo mold in one of them until it is well heated.
  • Remove the excess and quickly dip the mold into the buñuelo mixture. Fry in the other pot with oil and shake lightly to let the buñuelo fall; cook until lightly golden and drain on absorbent paper. Repeat until the mixture is finished.
  • Coat the buñuelos with the melted chocolates and let them dry on a rack.
  • Serve and enjoy.
