Munitions Soup with Beans

  • 4 tomatoes, quartered
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup pearl paste
  • 1 cup black beans, canned, drained, and whole
  • cilantro, for garnish

  • Blend the tomatoes with the onion, garlic, oregano, and chicken broth for 2 minutes or until everything is perfectly integrated.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium-low heat and cook the pasta for 4 minutes or until golden. Then pour in the tomato sauce through a strainer, season, cover, and cook for 15 minutes or until the pasta softens.
  • Add the beans and cook for 5 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve in a deep plate and garnish with cilantro leaves.
