Crazy Potatoes with Cochinita

If you like exotic snacks, we recommend these crazy potatoes with cochinita pibil, combined with churros, peanuts, pickled onions with habanero chili, and a fresh touch of cucumber, in addition to being accompanied by guacamole. Delicious!

  • 1 cup red onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cups Habanero chile, sliced
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cups white vinegar
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons oregano
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 avocado, for guacamole
  • 1/2 cups fresh cilantro, finely chopped, for the guacamole
  • 1/4 cups serrano chile, finely chopped for the guacamole
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice, for guacamole
  • 1 cup cracker nuts
  • 2 cups cochinita pibil
  • 1 cup Tostitos® green salsa tortilla chips
  • 1 cup churrito snacks
  • 1 cup Takis, green
  • 2 tablespoons black hot sauce
  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • lime, to accompany

  • In a bowl, mix the red onion with the habanero chili, cucumber, white vinegar, lemon juice, and season with oregano, salt, and pepper to your taste. Set aside until they change color or soften.
  • In a bowl, mix the guacamole ingredients until combined; season to your taste with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, mix the peanuts with the cochinita pibil, Tostitos salsa verde, churros, and Takis. Serve in your bag of chips, accompanied by the pickled onions, guacamole, and sauces. Drizzle with a few drops of lemon. Enjoy.
